Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre announces a Call for participation in the Festival Program “N.E.W” in 2026. The Program was initiated several years ago and ran quite successfully. But it was suspended for some time until now. Now we renew it with great enthusiasm and hope of new movements, tendencies, and artistic influences.
With this Call we invite the submission of applications from artists, producers, companies, and theaters from all over the world.
Application Period
From now until April 10, 2026 (deadline)
Eligible Applicants
Individual Artists, Performing Arts Companies, Groups, and Theaters.
Participating Conditions
The Festival offers for selected participants Venue, technical support, publicity, and Accommodation (Three star Hotel with breakfast). We do not cover travel and fees.
Festival Nomination and Prize
The Best production of the Program “N.E.W” will be awarded 5,000 euros as a prize.
The Selection will be done by a committee of art critics, journalists, artists, and theatre professionals. The Committee will be announced in advance.
Requirements for Participating :
Productions created in 2025 (not earlier) by professional companies and artists.

Notes on Application Submission
Performance must be scheduled during the Festival Dates: May 27- June 20.
Performance venues will be coordinated by the Office of the Festival. However, there will not be more than 3 venues suggested. The selected participants must adapt.
Selected participants will be notified via e-mail by April 15, 2026.
The application deadline is April 10, 2026.
